About / Sobre el Evento
In this workshop, we will explore the history of pickling as a human cultural manifestation and prepare a few simple vegetable pickles for participants to take home. No experience is needed; everyone is welcome!
Led by our Convivio's long-time supporter and 'socia', Paula Thomas, experienced food professional and educator turned food anthropologist.
We will provide the materials needed for class. Each participant is encouraged to bring their knife and will take home two 8-oz size jars with pickles.
