About / Sobre el Evento
We will honor compañera Jennifer Piper with the John Proctor Organizer Award, Piper is the Program Co-Director for AFSC & Coloradans For Immigrant Rights - AFSC Denver. For over two decades Piper has worked extensively to challenge the inhumane immigration system in close collaboration with legal advocates and directly impacted community, finding policy solutions for individuals as well as for the larger community.
During the event we will also honor the American Friends Service Committee - Migration and Immigration Program.
The program will include a potluck, opening remarks, musical performance, keynote, and more celebration. Stay tuned for more details of the program.
We will break bread in community, we ask that you please RSVP and tell us what you are going to bring to share for the potluck.
We are currently accepting donations for our Silent Auction, send as an email to coordinate.
